
SPICY HIBISCUS MARGARITA
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz (60ml) Silver Tequila
¼ oz (7.3ml) Cointreau
½ oz (15ml) Fresh Lime Juice
½ oz (15ml) Fresh Lime Juice
1 Fresh Sprig of Cilantro (Remove if you do not like cilantro)
3-4 Fresh Slices of Jalapeño
½ oz (15ml) 1933 Hibiscus Simple Syrup
Kosher Salt
Ice.
BAR TOOLS:
Cocktail Shaker,
Jigger,
Jigger,
Old-Fashion Glass,
Cocktail Strainer,
Lemon Squeezer
Muddler.
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a cocktail shaker add the lime juice, sprig of cilantro, and jalapeño, muddle them together. Next, add the tequila, 1933 hibiscus simple syrup, Cointreau, and ice, shake everything together for 10-15 seconds. Add salt to the rim of an old-fashion glass, ice, and fine strain the cocktail into it. Top off with cilantro and jalapeño or any spicy chili pepper.
