MARGARITA EN ENFUEGO
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz (60ml) Silver Tequila,
¾ oz (22ml) Ancho Reyes Verde,
¾ oz (22ml) Ancho Reyes Verde,
½ oz (15 ml) 1933 Hibiscus Simple Syrup,
½ oz (15 ml) Fresh Lime Juice,
½ oz (15 ml) Fresh Grapefruit Juice,
1 Dash Smoked Chili Bitters,
Charred Salt or Regular Salt,
Jalapeno Pepper,
Cilantro,
Ice.
BAR TOOLS:
Old-Fashion Glass or Saucer Margarita Glass,
Lemon Squeezer.
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a cocktail shaker add the tequila, ancho Reyes Verde, 1933 hibiscus simple syrup, lime juice, grapefruit juice, one dash of smoke chili bitters, and Ice, shake everything together for about 10-15 seconds. Rim a rocks glass or saucer margarita glass with charred salt and add ice. Lastly, pour the cocktail over the ice and garnished with a poblano chili wheel, or add the cocktail to a chill glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
