POMEGRANATE & CRANBERRY JULEP
INGREDIENTS:
2 ½ oz (74 ml) Bourbon,
1 oz (30 ml) 1933 Mint Simple Syrup,
1 oz (30 ml) 1933 Mint Simple Syrup,
1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Cranberry Juice,
1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Pomegranate Juice,
4-5 Fresh Mint Leaves
1 Fresh Sprig of Mint
Fresh Cranberries
Powder Sugar
Crushed Ice.
BAR TOOLS:
Cocktail Shaker
Jigger
Jigger
Lemon Squeezer
Brass Mint Julep Cup
Muddler
Strainer.
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a cocktail shaker add the 4-5 mint leaves and muddle them together. Next, add the Bourbon, 1933 Mint Simple Syrup, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and ice, shake everything together for 10-15 seconds. Lastly, add crushed ice to a brass mint julep cup and double strain the cocktail into it. Top off with more crushed ice and garnish with a fresh sprig of mint, fresh cranberries, and dry orange slice. Dust some powder sugar on top, and enjoy.
