OAXACAN MULE

INGREDIENTS

1½ oz (45 ml) Mezcal
1 oz (30 ml) 1933 Ginger Simple Syrup,
1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Lime Juice  
2-3 Small Slices of Fresh Ginger,
Sparkling Water, 
Fresh Sprig of Mint (For Garnish)
Crushed Ice.

BAR TOOLS:

Cocktail Shaker,
Jigger,
Copper Mug or Rocks Glass,
Muddler, 
Strainers.
INSTRUCTIONS
In a cocktail shaker add the small slices of gin and muddle them together. Next, add the Mezcal, fresh lime juice, 1933 Ginger Simple Syrup, ice, and shake for 10-15 seconds or until chilled. Lastly, add crushed ice to a copper mug and fine/double strain the cocktail into it, add the sparkling water and mix everything together. Top off with more crushed ice and garnish with a sprig of mint and lime wheel, enjoy.
